Basic Training Kitchen (BTK)

 

The BTK is used for providing training to the students in basic Continental, Chinese and Indian cuisines. The kitchen is equipped with the latest equipment as used in the hotel industry.

 

 

 

 

Quantity Food Kitchen (QFK)

 

QFK is used for students who learn to cook for a large number of guests and learn to cook the regional cuisines of India. Students cook lunch for enrolled students which are served as lunch to all students of the institute.

 

 

 

 

Bakery & Confectionary

 

The Bakery & Confectionery department trains the students in the art of making yeast products, flour confectionery products, pastries, cakes, chocolates, cold and hot pudding, etc. the way these are prepared in the industry.

 

 

 

 

Housekeeping

 

The Institute housekeeping lab is equipped with modern machines to train the students to provide a clean and hygienic atmosphere.

 

The three model guest rooms designed as hotel rooms are used to provide hands-on training to the students.

 

 

Laundry

 

Institute has a functional laundry with modern equipment to train students in laundry operations and make them multi-skilled to even handle laundry of the hotel.

 

 

 

 

Front Office

 

The front office is known as the nerve center of the hotel, thus the students in this lab are trained to handle reservations, reception, and concierge and cashier functions as done in the hotels.

 

 

 

 

Front Office Lab

 

FCI, Jabalpur has a lab that is used to train the students about Front Office operations through Interactive sessions and we give emphasis on manners, courtesy, communication skills, social skills, and handling of different types of situations.

 

 

 

 

Advance Training Restaurant (ATR)

 

FCI, Jabalpur has an Advance Training Restaurant which is used to train its students in various aspects of F&B Service. This restaurant is used for all kinds of functions and theme parties also.

 

 

 

 

Basic Training Restaurant (BTR)

 

FCI, Jabalpur has a Basic Training Restaurant which is used to train the students of HSRT and other courses of F&B Service. 

 

 

 

 

Training Bar

 

The training bar of the Institute is equipped to train the students regarding the service of various alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and the preparation of various cocktails and mocktails.

 

 

 

 

Computer Lab

 

The computer lab is well equipped with the latest computers and Internet connectivity through LAN and Wi-Fi, which enables the students to make use of this opportunity to update themselves with the current trends in the industry.

 

 

 

 

Library

 

As Library plays a very important role in the overall academic development of students, therefore to provide the best facility to our students, the Institute has a well-stocked library with the latest books, magazines, etc.

 

 

 

 

Conference hall

 

The Institute has got a well-designed conference hall. It is equipped with audiovisual aids such as LCD projector etc.

 

 

 

 

 

Classrooms

 

The Institute has got well-designed classrooms developed as learning halls to create an atmosphere of professional training. It is equipped with audiovisual aids such as LCD projector etc. 

 

 

 

 

Sports Facilities

 

There are Badminton, Chess, Cricket, Football, Carrom, etc. games facilities for students to play and maintain a healthy physical being.

 

 

 

 

Student Dining Hall

 

Institute has one dining hall where around 100 students can seat. Here the students are provided with free lunch in a clean and hygienic atmosphere.

 

 

 

 

Hostels

Separate boys and girls hostels are available within the Institute campus. The hostels are well furnished.

All hostel accommodation is available on sharing basis, i.e 2 students per room.

Boys Hostel

The total capacity is 35 Rooms 70 seats on sharing basis.

Girls Hostel

The total capacity is 20 Rooms 40 seats on sharing basis.
